Young Man Killed in Bamiyan While Saving Sister from Kidnapper; Suspect Dead

The incident took place in the Sarternok village of Yakawlang district, where an armed assailant identified as “Ali” attempted to forcibly abduct a young local woman from her home. The woman’s brother intervened to defend her and was fatally shot during the ensuing struggle. Following complaints from the victim’s family and local residents, Taliban security forces launched a pursuit of the suspect, who was subsequently shot and killed during an armed standoff.
